As a New York City native, Christon has spent the last decade personally and professionally endeavoring to bolster and enrich the lives of young, disadvantaged people of color in urban areas. He has had the pleasure of running his own print and online magazine, teaching magazine writing and design to high school students, running New Settlement’s college success program, and working as an educational consultant for a nonprofit based out of Brooklyn. Christon currently attends Carnegie Mellon University and his working on his graduate degree in Public Policy and Management with a goal of working in the field of urban economic development. He hold’s a B.S. in Communication from Cornell University with a double minor in Business and Nutritional Sciences.
