The Coordinator of New Settlement’s College Success Program was recently elected to the College Access Consortium of New York’s (CACNY) Board of Directors. CACNY is the leading convener of college access and success professionals representing the Greater New York area. As a result, constituent schools, colleges, universities, organizations, and government agencies are better able to remove systemic barriers to post-secondary access and success for underrepresented youth. CACNY’s mission is to actively support professionals by offering aggregated information, resources, support and training which address the equity needs of the youth being served.
