Kimberly Devine

College Success Counselor

Kimberly was born and raised in the South Bronx. Coming from a single-parent household, her mother has instilled in her to do everything passionately; that’s exactly how she chooses to live her life. Throughout high school, Kimberly came across peer leadership and took off running. From advocating to ending the school-to-prison pipeline to providing education around family planning and healthy relationships, she has made it her mission to help people in some way, shape, or fashion.

During this period of self-discovery, she recognized that she genuinely enjoyed the art of helping others and wanted to pursue this further. When Kimberly first stepped foot on her college campus, all she had was a goal and a dream. With the help of advisors and professors, Kimberly found her passion for psychology where she graduated with degrees from Bronx Community College and Binghamton University in that respective field. Now Kimberly is the Career Readiness Advisor at the Taft Educational Campus helping students in 9th-12th grade across 5 different schools with a special focus on supporting students in temporary housing.
