Thank you to the Mt Eden community for making our second season of the 170 Farm Stand a success! In our first year of hosting a compost drop off through GrowNYC, our Youth Leaders participated in a windrow build at Smiling Hogshead Ranch, helped break down compost piles at Harlem Grown, and showed children how worms help composting with our worm bin. We sold beautiful high quality veggies and shared delicious recipes with our customers. The Youth Leaders conducted outreach and education at local street fairs to get the word out about our favorite community space.
