Fall Orientation – Program for Girls & YW

New Settlement’s Program for Girls & Young Women offers free classes for girls ages 11-YA after-school, evenings and Saturdays. Prospective participants are invited to attend orientation with or without a guardian, Thursday, September 20th, 6:30-7:30pm at 1514 Townsend Ave, Bronx, NY 10452.  Classes begin the week of September 24th, and include dramatic writing & performance, Leadership (Girl Talk, Sisterhood Academy with Sadie Nash), Hip-Hop dance, Poetry (starts in November), Healthy Relationships + College Access (G.O.A.L.), and more. Young women in HS may earn a stipend for  G.O.A.L. & Sadie Nash.
