Fatoumata Dabo has been awarded $10,000 scholarship from the NY Power Authority Program!

We are pleased to announce that our Student Success Center student, Fatoumata Dabo, has been awarded a $10,000 scholarship from the NY Power Authority (NYPA). NYPA awarded 10 students in New York a one-time $10,000 NYPA Future Energy Leaders Scholarship awards as part of an increasing commitment to further racial justice and equity in the utility sector and help ensure that traditionally underrepresented students have opportunities to participate in and benefit from the clean energy economy. Fatoumata Dabo is a current Youth Leader at Claremont International High School, one of our partner schools in the Taft Educational Campus, and she will be attending Fordham University in the fall.
