New Settlement is proud to announce that Rigaud Noel has joined us as our new Executive Director, succeeding Jack Doyle, who retired in December 2020 after leading the organization for 25 years. Rigaud brings decades of experience leading programs with New York nonprofit organizations, most recently with New York Edge. Thank you, Jack, and welcome Rigaud!
Additionally, Allison Palmer, who has led New Settlement’s College Access Program for two decades, is our new Associate Executive Director. Congratulations, Allison!
As 2021 begins, New Settlement’s programs continue our thirty-year mission, creating resources and opportunities for the youth and families of the Mount Eden Community and the Southwest Bronx—while responding directly to urgent needs created by the Covid pandemic and economic downturn. Please visit our program pages to learn the status (hybrid, remote, in-person) of our programs, and our COVID button (on the top of this page) to connect to services and resources in the community.
Thank you for visiting New Settlement. Best wishes for the New Year!
