Congratulations to Shuba Maniram, a College Advisor at New Settlement’s College Access Center for being elected to the Board of the College Access Consortium of New York (CACNY)! CACNY is the leading convener of college access and success professionals representing the Greater New York area. CACNY’s constituent schools, colleges, universities, organizations and government agencies collectively work to remove systemic barriers to post-secondary access and success for underrepresented youth.
CACNY’s Board of Directors are members who voluntarily serve the organization with their time and expertise to oversee the business of the nonprofit membership corporation. Working closely with CACNY’s committees and staying in tuned to members’ needs, the Board is focused on carrying out the aims and mission of the organization and its membership.
