Community Food Action has bittersweet news to share. After four years with Community Food Action, our Community Engagement Specialist Jenina Podulka is moving on. She is transitioning to do social justice work in a communications capacity.
Jenina first joined our team as an AmeriCorps Member through LISC NYC. In the past four years, she has contributed greatly to our program’s development. Jenina’s notable accomplishments include running our Corbin Hill Farm Share site, leading political education workshops with neighborhood residents, and coordinating our community engagement efforts. Jenina is also the principal author of our e-newsletter, which have been published monthly since May 2015!
Although she will truly be missed, we are excited for Jenina’s continued growth and development. We know that Jenina will bring her critical eye and passion for justice to her next place of work.
