Community Food Action at New Settlement Apartments worked with the Bronx Helpers high school group to recruit supermarkets and corner stores in Mount Eden, the Bronx to actively promote their healthy food options to the community. We were presented with a Citation of Merit from Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz, Jr. in recognition of our work!
