Young Women in high school can earn a stipend for certain programs, such as G.O.A.L. and Sadie Nash Leadership Project.\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Our\u00a0program leverages the arts (theater, dance, poetry) to help participants\u00a0explore platforms from which to voice their views on subjects of concern to them; builds confidence and physical strength through adventure programming and sports and fitness activities; supports participant-led community service projects , and provides college readiness training and support. Participants benefit from our <strong>partnerships<\/strong> with organizations such as <a href=\"http:\/\/www.girlsincnyc.org\/\">Girls Inc of NYC<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sadienash.org\/\">Sadie Nash Leadership Project<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.edsnaps.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">EDsnaps<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cityparksfoundation.org\/education\/learning-gardens\/\">City Parks Foundation&#8217;s Learning Gardens<\/a>, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.womenssportsfoundation.org\/index\">Women&#8217;s Sports Foundation<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bike.nyc\/\">Bike NY <\/a>and BronxCares.<\/p>\n<p>Programs are available\u00a0for girls in middle and high school (some open to young adults) weekday afternoons and evenings after school, and on Saturdays. In summer, we offer a six-week Arts and Leadership Academy for\u00a0girls aged 10-15, and our summer\u00a0Peer Education training program for girls aged 14-21\u00a0is a <a href=\"https:\/\/newsettlement.org\/girls\/peer-educators\/\">Summer Youth Employment work site<\/a>.
