As youth leaders finalize their senior year, they also say goodbye to their role as Youth Leaders. They have played an important role at the Student Success Center at the Taft Educational Campus by assisting their peers with their college, financial aid, and scholarship application process! They were able to meet with students virtually by Zoom, Google Meet, or in-person (following CDC guidelines). Their biggest accomplishment this year was working on a workshop series completely led by them.\u00a0 Workshops included some of the following topics: personality assessment tests, DREAM Act, how to pay for college, how to write your college essay, resume writing, college majors, college terms, and junior\/senior year timeline. New Settlement College and Career Counselors at the Student Success Center also had a special message for them! See it here<\/a>! Congratulations, Youth Leaders! Thank you for all of your hard work this year. We will miss you, and good luck in college!<\/p>\n
