New Settlement Stands United. The families and people of New Settlement, the Mt. Eden community, and surrounding communities are fighting to preserve safe and affordable housing, improve our schools, abolish discrimination, and take direct action to protect the quality of life in our community. Please join us!

New Settlement leads two community organizing initiatives that, acting in concert with citywide organizing efforts, ensure that the rights and well-being of ALL New Yorkers are protected.

Community Action for Safe Apartments (CASA) meets regularly to ensure neighbors of their rights as tenants and to fight to prevent displacement. To find out how you can get involved, please visit the CASA web page.

New Settlement’s Parent Action Committee (PAC) fights to improve conditions in Community School District Nine schools and to ensure that parents have a voice in their schools. To find out how you can get involved, please visit the PAC website.
