New Settlement leads two community organizing initiatives that, acting in concert with citywide organizing efforts, ensure that the rights and well-being of ALL New Yorkers are protected.

Community Action for Safe Apartments (CASA) meets regularly to ensure neighbors of their rights as tenants and to fight to prevent displacement. To find out how you can get involved, please visit the CASA web page.
